Viscose rugs

Professional dry cleaning is advised since it is a very absorbent fibre.

Immediately clean spills to prevent stains. Blot up any liquids using paper towels or tissues. Wipe gently, turning the cloth frequently. Never rub or scrub, always dab into the pile direction. If using clear, lukewarm water, dry the rug as quickly as possible in the right direction.Viscose rugs can become stiff and matted after cleaning, so using a very small amount of diluted fabric softener over the damp fibres prior to the final drying phase can help soften the fibres.

Wool rug

Care:

Regular vacuuming in slow movements towards the pile direction is recommended. Occasionally tufts may sprout up on some rugs, but DO NOT pull these, just gently cut off with scissors. Many newly manufactured rugs tend to lose fibre during the first few weeks on the floor. This effect, called shedding or fluffing, is caused by the way the yarn is spun and the carpet is made. This will stop after a short while; just vacuum the carpet a little more gently for the first few weeks and wiping the surface with a lukewarm moist cloth also helps to eliminate some fibre dust.

Returns to store

Returns to our store are free and a full refund excluding delivery costs will be given after a full inspection of the returned items has been carried out. All returns must be received by us within 14 days of receipt. Items must be in the same condition as purchased and carefully re-packaged. Delivery costs will not be included within the refunded amount.  Refunds will be made on receipt of return after a full inspection. Damaged or stained items, or items we receive after the 14 day period from delivery date, will unfortunately not be entitled to a refund.
